GROBLER V PHILLIPS
The Clinic received judgment in one of our high impact matters in which our office opposed the eviction of an elderly client. After earlier successes in the High Court and Supreme Court of Appeal, the Constitutional Court judges unfortunately didn’t agree that our client should receive a permanent right of occupation in her current home. Nonetheless, under the circumstances of her having to leave her residence, we are grateful that the court has made adequate arrangements for her subsequent relocation. Safeguarding the best interest of our clients, and protecting their rights, remains the Clinic’s primary concern.
